Senior Analytical Chemist

CK Science are recruiting for a Senior Analytical Chemist to join a pharmaceutical company specialized in the distribution of Medical devices and Pharmaceutical products based in Basingstoke.

They use an advanced range of equipment for analytical and physical chemistry analysis to support QC testing. Location:
Basingstoke, UK.

Salary:
£25,000 - £26,000 per annum.

Role:
- Analysis of solid dose pharmaceutical products using HPLC, whilst effectively reporting on-going changes.
- Performing laboratory testing, following strict methodologies and carrying out routine tasks accurately.
- Recording and interpreting results to present to process teams.

Further responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring the lab is well-stocked and resourced.
- Following and ensuring strict safety procedures and safety checks.

The ideal candidate for this role will be:
- Qualification in a chemistry related subject
- At least 3 years industrial experience using HPLC
- Someone who works well as part of a team.
- A strong decision maker.
- Someone who performs well under pressure.
- A strong communicator.
