Microbiology Technician

CK Group are recruiting for a Microbiology Technician to join a company in the Pharmaceutical industry at their site based in Macclesfield on a contract basis for 12 months.

Salary:
£12.52 per hour PAYE

Microbiology Technician Role:
• Actively participate in microbiological product testing, environmental monitoring, microbiological and chemical water testing, microbial identification and media preparation.
• Responsible for formally clearing or rejecting products, materials and laboratory results against the agreed Quality Standards to ensure the quality, safety and efficacy of these products to the customer or user.
• Ensuring that the appropriate quality systems are followed in order for the laboratory to meet its responsibilities with respect to GCLP (Good Control Laboratory Practice), GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) and Safety, Health and Environment.

Your Background:
• A level Biology minimum or equivalent or equivalent in experience
• Practical microbiological laboratory experience
• Knowledge of cGLP and GMP
• Understanding of SHE principles
• Aseptic techniques and clean room experience
