Senior Materials Strategist
Location: Reading / Basingstoke area
Package: £41,950 - £65,000 (depending on your suitability and level of experience)

Responsibilities will include:
Provide technical leadership as a materials strategist for aspects of the materials portfolio
Support the Head of Strategic Materials through the provision of technical advice to the wider business and Defence Nuclear Organisation (DNO)
Plan technical projects, programmes and trials
Support the joint AWE/DNO materials team
Skills and Experience
Degree in scientific or STEM subject or equivalent work experience
Knowledge and experience of strategic materials
Ability to provide technical leadership and direction to local teams
A willingness to apply your expertise to a variety of technical challenges
Ability to apply excellent stakeholder engagement skills to all levels of the business
A drive to innovate and improve delivery and quality
Competence in the use of MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
This is an excellent opportunity to build a wide network of contacts throughout AWE and Defence Nuclear Organisation (DNO).
All candidates must be able to obtain and maintain the necessary security clearance for the role and be willing and able to work in designated areas.
