We are currently looking for a Associate Scientist to join a leading biotechnology company based in the London area. As the Associate Scientist you will be working as part of a team generating data that to better understand the biology and functional activity of engineered and non-engineered T cells and other unconventional lymphocytes.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Your duties as the Associate Scientist will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:
Collaborative experimental planning, execution, and analysis to support Discovery research and
Develop skills to expand and produce engineered and non-engineered T cells and
unconventional lymphocytes to support Discovery and wider R&D activities.
Perform characterisation of T cells and unconventional lymphocytes, including cell-based and
Participate in lab organisation, protocol and procedure drafting and participating in activities to
maintain the lab working environment.
To be successful in your application to this exciting opportunity as the Associate Scientist we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:
Educated to at least BSc/MSc level in a relevant scientific area with at least 1 year's laboratory experience, preferably in industry
Practical experience of laboratory work, cell culture and cell-based functional assays
Experience in primary human cell culture, would be advantageous
