We are currently looking for a QC Packaging and Sampling Supervisor to join a leading pharmaceutical company based in the Wiltshire area. As the QC Packaging and Sampling Supervisor you will be responsible for the leadership and oversight of the QC Packaging and Sampling team.


Your duties as the QC Packaging and Sampling Supervisor will be varied, however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:

1. As the QC Packaging and Sampling Supervisor, you will manage the performance, appraise and assess objectives for a team of QC Samplers and Packaging Analysts. You will schedule the workload for the Packaging and Sampling team, ensuring that work is conducted, reviewed and delivered in-line with departmental and business needs.

2. You will perform GMP data review and quality control analytical testing of incoming goods (packaging materials and engineering components), and ensure cGMP is applied in all areas of the business.

3. As the QC Packaging and Sampling Supervisor, you will perform planned preventative maintenance and performance calibrations on equipment.

4. You will perform transfer / verification / validation of laboratory procedures within the team and support and train other team members as required.


To be successful in your application to this exciting opportunity as the QC Packaging and Sampling Supervisor we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:

1. Relevant degree in Chemistry, Biology or other related subjects.

2. Proven industry experience in the management of people within scientific teams, conducting sampling or packaging procedures (BS6001, ISO2859).

3. A working knowledge and practical experience with pharmaceutical packaging requirements, regulations and testing processes.
