Research Associate, Antibody Discovery

CK Group are recruiting for a Research Associate, Antibody Discovery
to join a growing clinical - stage biotech company who are focused on improving the lives of patients facing life threatening disease with the next generation of antibody therapies.

Our client based in Woburn, Massachusetts and are looking to recruit a Research Associate on a permanent basis.

Research Associate, Antibody Discovery Role:
The Research Associate (RA)/Senior Research Associate will be part of the antibody discovery team, the RA will be responsible for antibody/protein engineering, gene sequencing, mammalian cell culture, and antibody/protein expression/purification. This person will have good opportunity to experience many different areas in therapeutic antibody discovery, molecular biology and cell biology as an integral part of our Antibody Discovery and Engineering team.

Requirements:

• BS/MS with at least 2 years of related experience in Molecular Biology, Immunology, Biochemistry, or Cell Biology.
• Hands-on experience and knowledge in general molecular biology, including PCR, DNA sequencing, and gene cloning and plasmid construction.
• Proficiency in mammalian cell tissue culture, gene expression and cell line generation.
• Prior experience on antibody screening is desired.
• Knowledge or experience in protein expression and purification a plus.
• Self-motivated and collaborative, with excellent time management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work on multiple projects in a fast-paced excellence-driven environment.
