The ALBORADA Drug Discovery Institute (DDI) is seeking talented chemists to expand its medicinal chemistry team.

The Cambridge DDI is part of a network of world-class Drug Discovery Institutes funded by Alzheimer's Research UK and prosecutes drug discovery projects from target to in vivo proof of concept and beyond for novel targets in the neurodegeneration therapeutic area. This is an exciting opportunity to join this institute based on the prestigious Cambridge Biomedical Campus. 

The successful applicant(s) will have a PhD in a relevant specialist subject or have equivalent qualifications or experience.  They will have a flair for problem solving and a track record of delivering solutions to challenging chemical problems. Moreover, they will have excellent communication skills and a willingness to work as part of a team in order to drive forward collaborative projects. We welcome applications from candidates with purely synthetic chemistry experience or from a biological or medicinal chemistry background. The successful candidate(s) will work in a stimulating and collaborative environment with opportunities for training and development.

Fixed-term: The funds for this post are available until 31 October 2022 in the first instance.
