We are currently looking for a Technical Transfer Manager to join a leading Cell Therapy company based in the Glasgow area where they are commutable from Edinburgh. As the Technical Transfer Manager you will be responsible for evaluation and technical transfer of new technologies and programs within their Manufacturing facility.


Your duties as the Technical Transfer Manager will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:

1. To investigate, research and report on new technologies relevant to Cell Therapy product pipelines.

2. To perform a gap analysis on technologies to include processes and materials required in the transfer from development to quality and manufacturing departments ensuring compliance with GMP regulations and guidelines.

3. To project manage resource and timelines relevant to the technical transfer of techniques and processes across to internal and external units.

4. Responsibility for the preparation of documentation, including Development Plans and Reports and SOPs.


To be successful in your application to this exciting opportunity as the Technical Transfer Manager we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:

1. Relevant experience in a Technical Transfer position, ideally within a Biologics business where you have exposure to technologies required for advanced therapies.

2. Proven industry experience working in a GMP manufacturing facility where you have indepth knowledge of GMP/ICH guidelines including Quality by Design principles.

3. A working knowledge and practical experience with QMS as well as validation and qualification of processes and assays.
