Senior Microbiology Research Manager Role:
Your main duties will be to:
- Be responsible for day-to-day management of microbiologically based research and development projects associated with product development, technical support and quality control.
- Initiate and manage projects into the R&D department to facilitate new product development and provide support for current product range as well as involvement with Independent Research Studies (Trials) to support current and novel products.
- Supervise technical staff working on research and development projects and liaising with the quality testing laboratory on all microbiological aspects.
Your Background:
The ideal candidate will be/have:
- Education to PhD level in a Life Science field, ideally in Microbiology, and experienced in a similar position in industry.
- An excellent track record of Scientific Research within the Microbiological field, ideally with Probiotic or Lactic Acid Bacterial knowledge.
- Experience in managing a team of laboratory staff.
