KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Your duties as the Business Development Assistant will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:
1. You will play a key part in generating leads, developing new business and managing incoming orders from existing accounts.
2. You will manage and maintain customer relationships, following up on order progress and handling incoming queries and complaints.
3. You will assist in the companies marketing activity, developing a marketing strategy and creating marketing content.
4. As the Business Development Assistant, you will occasionally be required to visit key customers in order to drive sales.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS:
To be successful in your application to this exciting opportunity as the we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:
1. Relevant degree in a Life Science subject e.g. Biochemistry, Chemistry, Biotechnology
2. Proven industry experience in a customer facing role, either in a business development setting or otherwise.
3. A working knowledge and practical experience with surfactants, formulation or fermentation would be highly advantageous to your application.
