We are currently looking for a Tech Transfer Specialist to join a leading Cell and Gene Therapy company based in the Essex area. As the Tech Transfer Specialist you will be responsible for leading the transfer of processes, projects and knowledge between the Manufacturing Centre and external facilities.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Your duties as the Tech Transfer Specialist will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:

1. You will contribute to both internal end external Technology Transfer activities (outsourced manufacturing and/or GMP process development)

2. As the Tech Transfer Specialist you will have strong interactions with the Process Development group and the Innovation team to enable the transfer and scale-up of manufacturing processes

3. You will also be responsible for maintaining the site wide QMS to enable the outsourced activities of projects to be included and overseen

4. A responsibility of the Tech Transfer Specialist will be to ensure that project goals and milestones from external CMOs are delivered on time

ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

To be successful in your application to this exciting opportunity as the Tech Transfer Specialist we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:

1. Relevant degree in a Life Sciences related discipline plus industry experience

2. Proven industry experience of working to GMP regulations and performing Tech Transfer

3. A working knowledge and practical experience in upstream or downstream processing
