CK Group are recruiting for an Occupational Health Nurse to join a company in the Pharmaceutical industry at their site based in Sandwich on a contract basis for 6 months.
The position is initially for 2-3 days per week, with the view to increase to full time hours.

This Occupational Health Nurse role will be split between our clients site in Sandwich, Kent and from home.
Salary:
£21.82 per hour PAYE / £24.46 per hour Umbrella.
Occupational Health Nurse Role:
- Health surveillance, travel vaccinations/advice, case management (and associated business meetings with managers and HR), workplace injury/illness investigation, risk assessments, pre employment screens & support/delivery of wellbeing projects - all tasks aimed at supporting company compliance.
- Prepared to support/teach the team - to support other team members with less experience. Proficient in undertaking health surveillance: Spirometry, audiometry, fork lift truck medicals & visual acuity checks.
- Proficient in administering travel vaccinations/advice.
- Expert in case management of OH referrals and triage to team.
Your Background:
- Occupational Health Nurse, preferably with the corresponding NMC registration (Part 3) or equivalent, e.g. diploma/degree in OH/Public Health Nursing. Ideally demonstrating past experience in such roles, as this is a senior position.
- Proficient in administering travel vaccinations/advice.
- Expert in case management of OH referrals and triage to team.
- Display excellent communication skills (both spoken and written) as required for business meetings with colleagues, managers and HR.
- A driving license to access sites is desirable - but open to a willingness to travel by public transport.
