KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Your duties as the Senior Assay Scientist - Diagnostics will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:
1. You will be developing and designing diagnostics immunoassays and apply this to the development of molecularly imprinted polymers for assays and sensor applications.
2. Your role will be mainly lab based but you will be involved with project management when necessary to ensure the successful delivery of projects.
3. You will be analysing experimental data and share those to internal and external stakeholders.
4. You will be record keeping to GLP and ISO19001 standard.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS:
To be successful in your application to this exciting opportunity as the Senior Assay Scientist - Diagnostics we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:
1.A BSc in a Life Science subject including Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Microbiology. Biological Sciences etc. An MSc or a PhD is advantageous.
2. A working knowledge of working with diagnostic immunoassay would be preferable. Experience working in a development capacity in industry under ISO9001 or, preferably, ISO-13485 Quality Management Systems.
3. A highly motivated and confident individual that is able communicate with customers and internal teams.
