CK Group are recruiting for a Scientific Project Manager to join a company in the Pharmaceutical industry at their site based in Cambridge on a contract basis for 6 months.

Our client is a global pharmaceutical company with a major presence in the UK. Their purpose is to deliver life-changing medicines and to do this they are completely science-led and like to share this with the scientific, healthcare and business communities within the UK.

This Scientific Project Manager role will be based at our clients site in Cambridge.

£100-125 per hour Ltd.

Scientific Project Manager Role:

- Manage Global Technical Operations projects utilizing the PMO project methodology, tools and processes, to meet agreed scopes, timelines, deliverables, budgets, resource estimates and success criteria.
- Manage functional and cross-functional project teams to deliver successful projects.
- Interface with sites, functional heads, other functions and other key stakeholders to assure continuous alignment of priorities.
- Apply effective problem-solving individually and with the project team to address challenges encountered in successful project delivery. Escalates issues appropriately to the sponsor, key stakeholders or PMO management.
- Proactively identify and share relevant best practices to improve project delivery and PMO team capabilities.

Your Background:

- BS required; preferred in Engineering, Science or Operations field with a minimum 3 years of Project Management experience required.
- MS, MBA, or other advanced degree, preferred.
- Lean Six Sigma Certification, preferred.
- Previous experience of working with technology transfer projects (Analytical /Biological).
- Extensive project management experience leading complex/multinational projects.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills.
