CK Technical are recruiting for a Support Desk Engineer to join an IT support provider at their site based in St Helens on a permanent basis.

The Company:
Our client is a managed service provider that offers technical support and cloud, ERP and CRM consulting.

Location:
This Service Desk Analyst role is located in St Helens.

Support Desk Engineer Role:
Your main duties will be:

- Management of customer support enquiries from the service desk.
- 2nd line technical support.
- Liaising with 3rd party support teams.

Further responsibilities will include:

- Assisting with projects at customer sites.
- Installations at customer sites.
- Occasionally attending out of hours calls according to an on-call rota.

Your Background:
The ideal candidate for this role will have:

- Knowledge of and experience in the administration of Office 365, Windows Servers (2008, 2012, 2016), Exchange 365, VMware, Hyper-V, Veeam, Datto Backup and Recovery.
- Experience with hardware (HP, Dell, Nas).
- Networking experience (WAN, LAN, iSCSI, NAT, VPN, RDP).
- At least 2 years experience in a similar role at a managed service provider.
