Sygnature Discovery is a highly respected, successful and award-winning provider of fully integrated drug discovery research programmes to the global pharmaceutical industry. Founded in 2004 with a workforce of six, we now employee over 300 scientists, mainly operating from our purpose-built facilities in BioCity, Nottingham.

Having successfully established a DMPK lab at Alderley Park at the end of 2018, Sygnature is now building upon this by opening a Chemistry department at the same site. Work is ongoing to develop the lab space and necessary equipment, but our most vital resource will be our people.

We are continuing to recruit for our Nottingham site as well as commencing recruitment at our new site in Alderley Park. We are looking for chemists across a broad range of personal experience and knowledge:

As a Project Leader you will already be an innovative and talented senior medicinal chemist with a PhD in Organic Chemistry or Medicinal Chemistry, alongside several years’ experience in a pharmaceutical company or a CRO where you have overseen and supported the work of others.

As a Senior Scientist, you are likely to have a substantial amount of drug discovery experience gained within a pharmaceutical company or a CRO, or substantial relevant post-doctoral study.

At our Scientist level, you are likely to have a PhD in Organic Chemistry or Medicinal Chemistry, or a BSc/MSc in Chemistry with additional drug discovery experience in industry.
