KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Your duties as the QC Scientist will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:
1. You will support the QC manager in establishing a GMP/GCP compliant QC lab to support the release and stability testing of the products manufactured at the facility.
2. As the QC Scientist you will be responsible for the technology transfer and validation of in-process and release assays from the development lab into the new QC lab.
3. You will be required to follow SOPs and protocols to effectively perform analytical methods and generate valid and reliable data.
4. You will also be responsible for routine maintenance, verification and qualification of specified analytical systems including PCR and plate reader systems.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS:
To be successful in your application to this exciting opportunity as the QC Scientist we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:
1. Relevant degree in a Life Sciences related discipline plus industry experience in Analytical Sciences.
2. Proven industry experience working in a GMP/GCP environment and working with quality professionals.
3. A working knowledge and practical experience using RT-PCR methods and cell based assays.
