KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Your duties as the Supplier Quality Assurance Manager will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:
1. As the Supplier QA Manager, you will have overall responsibility for the supplier quality approval mechanism and will be supporting the continuous monitoring of supplier performance, ensuring audits are conducted in a timely manner to meet business needs.
2. You will ensure that Quality Technical Agreements and supplier questionnaires are in place for APIs, materials, components and services.
3. In your role as the Supplier QA Manager you will be responsible for the interfacing with potential new suppliers, obtaining necessary regulatory information and arranging on-site audits where appropriate.
4. You will be updating SOPs and must maintain expert knowledge of relevant QMS governance and operational practices.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS:
To be successful in your application to this exciting opportunity as the Supplier Quality Assurance Manager we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:
1. Relevant degree in a related field (e.g. a Life Science subject / Engineering).
2. Proven industry experience in the Medical Device or Pharmaceutical Industry in a manufacturing quality system environment within a supplier quality assurance role.
3. A working knowledge and practical experience with supplier audits, supplemented by a recognised accreditation / formal auditing qualification.
