The Role
Working as part of the Chemistry team based in our global headquarters in Craigavon, you will perform high quality synthetic chemistry for our clients to agreed timelines. You will carry out contract research projects, gram scale synthesis and process development prior to the synthesis of larger amounts of the target molecules. Working as part of a multi-disciplinary project team he/she will plan carefully, carry out their work safely and document and communicate their methods and results accurately.

Essential Criteria
- Degree or PhD (or equivalent) in Chemistry or other closely related discipline
- Practical laboratory experience of the organic synthesis and analysis from either university studies or previous industrial placements
- Demonstrate scientific excellence, attention to detail and a passion for chemistry with good experience of literature searching tool
- Previous experience of the synthesis and analysis of organic molecules using multistep reaction sequences
Desirable Criteria
(The following criteria may be applied if a large pool of applicants exist)
- Postgraduate Qualification i.e. MSc, PhD or equivalent in organic chemistry, chemistry or closely related discipline
