KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Your duties as the Contracts Manager will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:
1. Supporting Lab, Engineering and Facility functions with their contractual needs. Including the drafting, reviewing and negotiation of agreements and the renewal of contracts.
2. Work with procurement to reduce costs through identifying new suppliers and negotiating with existing suppliers.
3. Design and implement new policies and procedures relating to the request, negotiation and management of supplier contracts.
4. As the Contracts Manager, you will have the day to day management of supplier contracts and management of junior members of the contracts team.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS:
To be successful in your application to this exciting opportunity as the Contracts Manager we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:
1. Relevant degree in a related field such as science, business, legal or financial.
2. Proven industry experience in a Contract management role, with line management experience ideally.
3. A working knowledge and practical experience with drafting, negotiating and agreeing contracts, and managing these. Experience working with procurement is also needed.
