Hyper Recruitment Solutions (HRS) are currently looking for a Scientific Sales Specialist - Scotland to join one of the leading and most reputable Life Science organisations Globally. As the Scientific Sales Specialist - Scotland you will be responsible for the Scotland territory, managing sales of a lucrative portfolio, to new and existing customers across pharma, biotech, academia and more.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Your duties as the Scientific Sales Specialist - Scotland will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:

1.You will develop and execute a strategic and tactical sales plan to increase the company's revenue by managing and nurturing customer relationships and actively promote Life Science products.

2. As a Scientific Sales Specialist - Scotland you will be required to maintain a strong and up-to-date knowledge of your product portfolio in order technically discuss customer requirement and queries.

3. You will work closely with Business Development, Inside Sales and other Specialists to generate and close new opportunities for the Life Science portfolio to pharmaceutical, research and academic customers.

4 You will review, maintain and manage your work in line with key performance indicators, such as sales performance, meetings, call planning and more.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

To be successful in your application to this exciting opportunity as the Technical Sales Specialist Scientific Sales Specialist - Scotland we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:

1. Relevant degree in a Science Degree or equivalent (Microbiology, Biology, Chemistry etc.). An MSc or PhD is desirable but not essential.

2. Proven industry experience within a laboratory environment or a more commercial role, (such as Account Manager, Field Application Specialist or Product Manager) working with clients in Life Science / Biotechnology.

3. A working knowledge and practical experience working with key commercial pharma / biotech / life science accounts in this territory would be desirable.
