KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Your duties as the Production Operations Manager will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:
1. You will ensure all products are produced and stored according to appropriate instructions, ensuring Quality is maintained at all times. This will include the responsibility for training and recruitment of production staff and ensuring the equipment and production area remains clean and safe, reinforced by conducting regular safety inspections.
2. The Production Operations Manager will work closely with the quality department to ensure amendments to the manufacturing process (change of equipment/materials) that may affect product quality are validated, and review/investigate site and production improvements and act as the responsible person on storage/distribution licenses.
3. You will oversee the sites, ground and security teams to ensure the company premises is presentable and secure at all times, as well as overseeing planned maintenance and project work carried out by the engineering team/contractors.
4. The Production Operations Manager will take on a variety of other duties including but not limited to vetting external contractors, identifying opportunities for business/continuous improvement, recruiting and training new staff, project manage and design build phases for the company and associated premises.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS:
To be successful in your application to this exciting opportunity as the Production Operations Manager we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:
1. Relevant degree level qualification or HNC in Mechanical Engineering.
2. Proven industry experience in the Pharmaceutical Industry in a role as Site Services Engineering Manager or Operations/Production role.
3. A working knowledge and practical experience with Secondary Manufacturing Processes in a GMP compliant environment focussing on the Pharmaceutical Industry.
