Hyper Recruitment Solutions are currently looking for a Analytical Development Lead to join a leading Pharmaceutical company based in the Essex area. As the Analytical Development Lead you will be responsible for providing expertise in Analytical Chemistry techniques as well as coaching, mentoring and leading a team of motivated scientists within a NPD team.


Your duties as the Analytical Development Lead will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:

1.Providing the appropriate analytical support to all areas of our business. This is through analytical method development, method validation, problem solving, and laboratory duties.
2. Performing and supervising all process validation and cleaning validation activities within the department.

3. Checking of protocols, analytical results and batch documents

4. Developing and validating methods where necessary according to ICH requirements


To be successful in your application to this exciting opportunity as the Analytical Development Lead we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:

1. Relevant degree in a life science subject or relevant industrial experience

2. Proven industry experience in a cGMP/GLP compliant environment in the Pharmaceutical Industry

3. A working knowledge and practical experience with experience in HPLC analysis, preferably with appropriate method development and method validation experience. Experience with other analytical techniques (Titrations/Spectroscopy) would be advantageous.
