We are currently looking for a QA Officer to join a leading pharmaceutical company based in the Buckinghamshire area. As the QA Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining all aspects of the QMS to ensure GMP compliance.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Your duties as the QA Officer will be varied. However, the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:

1. You will maintain all aspects of the QMS to GMP standards, ensuring all change controls, deviations and incidents logged, reviewed and monitored through to closure, and communicating these with all third parties.

2. As the QA Officer, you will liaise with CMOs and ensure change controls notified to all company sites and follow-up with approval to the CMOs in accordance with company lead times. You will approve CMO documentation such as PQRs, protocols and reports as the QA Officer.

3. You will raise compliance gaps and implement necessary process improvements and CAPAs in the continuous improvement of systems and sites. You will do so through self-inspections, internal audits and external supplier site audits.

4. As the QA Officer, you will provide Quality input on vendor management processes, the handling of vendor complaints and customer complaints.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

To be successful in your application to this exciting opportunity as the QA Officer, we are looking to identify the following on your profile and history:

1. Relevant Life Science degree or substantial QA experience.

2. Proven industry experience of Quality Management Systems to GMP compliance.

3. A working knowledge and practical experience of vendor assurance and stability testing quality requirements.
