This opportunity is specifically aimed at modelling the effects of pulsed and continuous electromagnetic energy on systems and components. Existing capabilities of the team rely on commercial and in-house codes specifically designed to study these effects. The team is looking to expand capability and knowledge of the SHF and EHF bands through the development of computational models.

The role will consist primarily of implementing numerical solution techniques as well as using commercial and in-house modelling packages to analyse electromagnetic propagation and penetration into systems in the broadband and high frequency ranges.
