We are currently looking for a QC Specialist to join a leading Cell and Gene Therapy company based in the London area. As the QC Specialist you will be responsible for supporting QC laboratories including Environmental Monitoring, Raw Materials, and Finished Products.


Your duties as the QC Specialist will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:

1. You will lead the technical transfer, validation and execution of analytical methods such as ELISA, PCR and Flow Cytometry.

2. Execution of laboratory analysis and reporting results will be an important part of your role. You will ensure service provision if maintained.

3. Support of the QC Raw Materials sampling activity and ensure effective and efficient service for collection, storage and life cycle management of collaborator derived microbiology and environmental monitoring samples.

4. You will conduct validation studies and method qualifications. You will also provide support to ensure the QC function operates to a high standard by managing documentation such as SOP's and ATM's, protocols and reports.


To be successful in your application to this exciting opportunity as the QC Specialist we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:

1. Relevant degree in a Life Sciences related discipline and experience working in a Microbiology or Biopharmaceutical manufacturing environment for a number of years. Experience working in a cleanroom is essential to your application.

2. Proven industry experience carrying out analytical techniques such as ELISA, PCR and Flow Cytometry is essential to your application.

3. A working knowledge and practical experience with regulatory bodies would be highly beneficial to your application.
