Analytical Chemistry Team Leader

Analytical Chemists at Sygnature Discovery play an essential role in supporting integrated client projects as well as delivering specialist services. The growing team is looking for a talented Team Leader to push our capabilities even further.

For this role, experience of industrial drug discovery is essential, and you will have a background gained within a pharmaceutical company or CRO discovery research environment. Comprehensive knowledge of modern analytical and purification approaches to supporting drug discovery is required and leadership skills and experience are equally important.

The role will involve coordinating the activities of the analytical team, prioritising work schedules and working closely with the medicinal chemistry department. Key responsibilities will also include line management of the analytical team and training and development of junior staff. You will have experience in a wide range of analytical and preparative techniques, particularly HPLC, LCMS, SFC and chiral separations, and should be keen to provide hands-on laboratory assistance when required. The ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced discovery CRO setting is paramount.
