Key Accountabilities

To provide technical expertise and act as a subject matter expert in the QC laboratory and work closely with the Technical Services team to provide project management and analytical support for all New Product introductions and on-going technical issues.

  • Responsible for any development, review and remediation of test methods including transfer of knowledge to peers within the QC laboratory and effective communication to other relevant departments.
  • Act as an SME for a number of analytical techniques and procedures with training and audit support responsibility in those areas of expertise
  • Oversight and lead technical projects including NPIs, test method review, remediation and validation.
  • Carry out test method validation and verification, including the writing of protocols and reports in line with relevant guidance
  • Support laboratory investigations and provide technical support and expertise in all laboratory areas to all laboratory staff.
  • Write/Review and complete LIRs, Deviations and Control Changes and ensure they are actioned and closed in a timely manner.
  • Ensure QC equipment validation is carried out in line with set standards and provide support into instrument IQ/OQ and PQ where required.
  • Provide technical input and troubleshoot issues that arise during routine production from a QC and analytical perspective in order to determine root cause.
  • Support in the maintenance and first line QC equipment issues/breakdowns and troubleshooting.
  • Comply with GMP and Health & Safety standards at all times
  • Project management of all quality control aspects of NPI lifecycle and remediation projects.
  • Support peer development through coaching and mentoring.
  • Perform routine QC analysis to support the QC team if and when required.
