We are currently looking for a Bio-Sensor Engineer to join a leading biotechnology company based in the Ceredigion area. As the Bio-Sensor Engineer you will be responsible for suppoting the R&D team in developing electrical designs and systems design for scientific research.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Your duties as the Bio-Sensor Engineer will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:

1. You will apply your physics/electrical circuit knowledge in designing and developing prototypes for R&D projects.

2. You will design and implement systems for spectroscopy research which will be involved in continued improvement and development.

3. As the Bio-Sensor Engineer, you will work with project team members to integrate measurement systems in a laboratory environment.

4. You will work on biological systems and other sensor systems when implementing these to practical experiments and projects relating to cell culture and scientific research.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

To be successful in your application to this exciting opportunity as the Bio-Sensor Engineer we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:

1. Relevant degree in a scientific discipline or Electronics.

2. Proven industry experience in electrical engineering and/or medical device background.

3. A working knowledge and practical experience with electrical design work and spectroscopy knowledge.
