We are currently looking for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join a leading pharmaceutical company based in the Wiltshire area. As the Mechanical Maintenance Engineer you will be responsible for providing maintenance for both the plant equipment and utilities when supporting manufacturing operations.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Your duties as the Mechanical Maintenance Engineer will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:

1. You will undergo both Reactive and Pre Planned Maintenance on process equipment, water systems and steam systems on site alongside the utilities of the building.

2. You will part of a multi-skilled team carrying out site maintenance using your in-depth knowledge on cGMP and regulatory requirements.

3. As the Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, you will reduce breakdown time to minimise loss of production onsite and liaise with the Engineering contractors and manager to ensure process equipment are maintained to a high standard.

4. You will perform routine water samples and work to ensure all engineering procedures follow GMP and Health & Safety guidelines.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

To be successful in your application to this exciting opportunity as the Mechanical Maintenance Engineer we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:

1. Relevant degree / HNC in a Mechanical Engineering discipline.

2. Proven industry experience within a pharmaceutical industry or highly regulated environment.

3. A working knowledge and practical experience with mechanical engineering in a pharmaceutical setting.
