HRS are currently looking for a Business Development Manager - In Vivo services to join a leading CRO company specialising in pre-clinical development services. As the Business Development Manager - In Vivo services, you will be responsible for promoting drug discovery services to potential new clients in USA and EU. The role is home-based with up to 50% travelling. This is a great opportunity for an experienced scientific sales person that has promoted preclinical research models in their career or worked extensively with animal models in the laboratory.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Your duties as the Business Development Manager - In Vivo services will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:

1. Generate new business by selling the research model services across EU and USA. Your main customers will be Pharmaceutical and Biotech companies.

2. As the Business Development Manager - In Vivo Services, you will be responsible for all stages of the sales process including proactively searching for leads up to closing deals. Meeting swill be essential part of the role and you will be expected to travel up to 50% within the designed territory.

3. You will develop a great understanding of preclinical research models in oncology, inflammatory diseases, dermatology and wound healing.

4. You will be supporting the marketing team by generating marketing materials, draft abstracts and press releases, posters, publications, email blasts and flyers.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

To be successful in your application to this exciting opportunity as the Business Development Manager - In Vivo services we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:

1. Relevant degree in a scientific discipline, including Biological Sciences, Immunology, Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry etc.

2. Proven industry experience in scientific sales. Previous experience working in a CRO company promoting pre-clinicial services is ideal but not essential.

3. A working knowledge and practical experience with in vivo / animal models in the lab.
