We are currently looking for a Graduate Sales Specialist - Molecular Biology to join a Global Biotech company based in the Cambridgeshire area. This is a great opportunity for a recent graduate or molecular biology scientist that are looking to use their scientific knowledge outside the laboratory. As the Graduate Sales Specialist - Molecular Biology you will be responsible for speaking with current and new clients in order to understand their needs and drive sales.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Your duties as the Graduate Sales Specialist- Molecular Biology will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:

1. As the Graduate Sales Specialist- Molecular Biology you will be building relationships with existing clients to further grow these accounts. Generate and follow up new leads in order to develop new business and hit business sales targets. Your main clients will be Academia, Pharma, and Biotech companies.

2. Maintain a clear understanding of the range of products and services in order to give technical support when needed. Products include PCR & qPCR & CRISPR gRNA, DNA Molecules etc.

3. To record all the activities and account/prospect information in salesforce (CRM)

4. As the Graduate Sales Specialist - Molecular Biology, you will be working alongside the Technical Services, Marketing, Technical Management, Sales Support, Customer Service, Manufacturing and Supply Chain.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

To be successful in your application to this exciting opportunity as the Graduate Sales Specialist- Molecular Biology we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:

1. A minimum of a BSc in a Life Science subject such as Biotechnology, Biology, Biochemistry Immunology, Natural sciences, Genetics, Molecular Biology, Biomedical Sciences etc.

2. Experience in a sales or customer service roles within the scientific industry, retail or hospitality. Experience with as tele-sales, inside sales, business development or cold calling, door to door sales is advantageous.

3. Proven experience in a lab setting either in academia or in the industry. Experience working with PCR, qPCR, RNA and DNA molecules is advantageous.
