Salary: £43,266- £50,132 per annum

Applications are invited for a postdoctoral fellowship funded by the Leverhulme Trust to work under the direction of Professor J Stephen Clark in the School of Chemistry at the University of Glasgow. The research project concerns the development of new and efficient methods for the synthesis of large and structurally complex marine polyether natural products by the exploitation of both apparent and latent symmetry embedded within their molecular structures.

Applications are invited from candidates who hold a PhD and have a strong background and extensive experience in synthetic organic chemistry (especially related to natural product synthesis and / or development of synthetic methodology).
