The Company
Almac is an exceptional, award winning, drug development solutions provider at the forefront of the pharmaceutical industry. Our Global headquarters is located in Craigavon, Northern Ireland with additional operations throughout Europe (UK, Ireland), across the US (Pennsylvania, North Carolina and California) and in Asia (Singapore and Japan).
The role
We are offering some exciting opportunities to become part of the Almac Sciences Analytical team. Almac Sciences currently employs approximately 250 Analytical Chemists. Our Analytical Development team works closely alongside Process Development Chemists, to develop and then validate analytical methods for small molecules and peptides to ensure the purity and chemical composition of the final synthetic products. Our Quality Control (QC) team is responsible for ensuring all raw materials and released API’s meet our specifications. Our Analytical Services team supports drug development from early phase to commercialisation and beyond, through the provision of a suite of services including method development, method validation, release testing of commercial products, batch release and stability testing for Almac Clinical Services and external customers, as well as Solid State Chemistry services like polymorph screening and crystallisation studies.
We have several opportunities at a range of levels in our Analytical Development Group, Quality Control and Analytical Services. We prefer candidates with experience of working in a GMP pharmaceutical analysis laboratory, with previous experience using HPLC and GC analytical methods.
