We are currently looking for a Senior QA Officer to join a leading pharmaceutical company based in the Midlands. As the Senior QA Officer, you will be responsible for continuous improvement of the Pharmaceutical Quality Systems and ensuring GMP compliance of products and site procedures.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Your duties as the Senior QA Officer will be varied. However, the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:

1. You will be directly involved in the Supplier Management and Materials Supply, and the auditing of these external suppliers to assure the quality of materials, suppliers and their processes.

2. As the Senior QA Officer, you will drive continuous process improvements, implementing and adapting processes, as required, to ensure compliance to GMP standards. You will also be the point-of-contact for quality and compliance of product queries, both internally and externally.

3. You will investigate Deviations and quality incidents through Root Cause Analysis, implement and manage CAPAs and Change Controls, generate Quality Technical Agreements, and raise, assess and manage any quality risks as needed.

4. As the Senior QA Officer, you will conduct internal audits, and play an active role in regulatory inspections and customer audits.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

To be successful in your application to this exciting opportunity as the Senior QA Officer, we are looking to identify the following on your profile and history:

1. Relevant Life Sciences degree.

2. Proven industry experience in a manufacturing QA environment, managing Pharmaceutical Quality Systems.

3. A working knowledge and practical experience with Quality Investigations, Root Cause Analysis, and Quality Risk Management.
