An excellent opportunity has now arisen for a Quality Control Analyst to join us at our site in Seal Sands, Middlesbrough.

We have an opportunity for a meticulous and organised individual to test products and raw materials and accurately report the analytical results. You will interpret and report on analytical data and ensure that all paperwork is completed on time and accurately recorded. With a good understanding of chemical analytical methods and specifications, you will work with Development on the analytical aspect of New Product Introduction and Existing Product Development, ensuring that the stock level of reagents and consumables are maintained. You will also be expected to complete analytical method development to improve analysis, including HPLC, GC, spectrophotometric techniques and titrations. You will ensure that all HSE requirements and regulations are met including COSHH assessments and housekeeping standards in accordance with GLP and GMP.

Educated to degree level or equivalent in Chemistry (or very closely aligned subject) you will have experience of working in an analytical role in a fine chemical or pharmaceutical environment. You will be accustomed to working in a multi-disciplinary laboratory including basic maintenance of equipment and will have HPLC and GC experience.

This is a day position, based on a 40-hour week working Monday to Friday.
