Hyper Recruitment Solutions are currently looking for a Development Scientist to join a leading global Pharmaceutical company based in the Cheshire area. As the Development Scientist you will be responsible for performing experiments programmes to determine optimal performance criteria for the manufacture of metered dose inhalation products.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Your duties as the Development Scientist will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:

1. You will be responsible for the planning and set-up development of laboratory equipment, undertaking controlled experiments and trials for agreed development projects. Ensuring all risk assessments are completed.

2. You will produce reports and generate plans based on approved experiments and trials as well as making recommended improvements to development lab procedures.

3. As the Development Scientist you will provide development test results and experimental data to agreed schedules.

4. You will supervise temporary staff and students working within the lab as well as supporting the QC department when required.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

To be successful in your application to this exciting opportunity as the Development Scientist we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:

1. Relevant degree in a Chemistry related degree.

2. Proven industry experience in GMP operations

3. A working knowledge and practical experience with supporting customer audits as well as pharmaceutical development (ideally inhalation based)
