We are currently looking for a Process Engineer to join a leading company based in the Kent area. As the Process Engineer you will be responsible for supporting the production department in order to implement and develop new processes and product lines to optimise current processes.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Your duties as the Process Engineer will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:

1. You will utilise process engineering design and expertise to source new equipment, generate User Requirements and associated qualification/validation documents.

2. You will provide Commissioning, Qualification and Validation support for Process and Automation systems and generate qualification life cycle documents/protocols for new plant and equipment.

3. As the Process Engineer you will provide process engineering expertise for the evaluation of process risk assessments and HAZOPs.

4. You will ensure all activities meet all relevant EH&S and Quality standards.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

To be successful in your application to this exciting opportunity as the Process Engineer we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:

1. Relevant degree in a Chemical or Process Engineering related degree.

2. Proven industry experience in engineering design principles for the scale up and technology transfer of production processes within a Pharmaceutical environment.

3. A working knowledge and practical experience with HAZOPs, qualification documentation as well as processing risk assessments.
