We are currently looking for a Risk & Business Continuity Manager to join a leading company based in the West Sussex area. As the Risk & Business Continuity Manager you will be responsible for maintaining and continually improving and developing the Business Continuity Management capabilities.


Your duties as the Risk & Business Continuity Manager will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:

1. You will be responsible for all oversight of risk management activities in the business including direct ownership of Information Security and corporate risk registers.

2. You will be responsible for setting and delivering the risk management strategy, policy and processes for the UK and Ireland Affiliate.

3. As the Risk and Business Continuity Manager you will be on call and responsible for Emergency & Incident Assessment as well as accountable for driving the right level of response.

4. You will embed a culture of risk based thinking and practice in our daily business operations while fostering a business environment which stimulates opportunities to innovate and succeed.


To be successful in your application to this exciting opportunity as the Risk & Business Continuity Manager we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:

1. Relevant degree in a life science, engineering or business related discipline.

2. Proven industry experience in Risk and/or Business Continuity within a Pharmaceutical environment or heavily regulated environment.

3. A working knowledge and practical experience with handling crisis situations individually or as a member of a team, managing ISO Standards and managing large complex projects.
