Job Details

We are currently looking for a Technical Sales Specialist - Biotechnology to join a leading Bioprocess organisation, with offices Globally. As the Technical Sales Specialist, you will cover the Oxford and South West territory, and will be responsible for driving sales of the Bioprocess product portfolio, including filtration, fermentation, single-use, cell culture and purification.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

As the Technical Sales Specialist - Biotechnology you will report to the Sales Manager and your responsibilities will include:

1. Account management and growth of existing customers in the Oxford and South West territory, developing new points of contact. Products include single use systems, filtration, purification, cell culture, media and more.

2. Identify new prospect and establish new business relationships with potential clients across academia, research, biopharmaceutical and CMO's.

3. As the Technical Sales Specialist - Biotechnology you will organise sales meetings and conferences, conduct technical support and generate quotes.

4. Maintain a strong knowledge of the Bioprocess sector and market, including biopharmaceutical development, MAs (monoclonal antibodies), vaccine development, biosimilars and regenerative medicine.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

To be successful in your application to this exciting opportunity as the Technical Sales Specialist - Biotechnology we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:

1. Relevant degree in a a Science related subject such as Biology, Life Science, Biotechnology, Immunology, Microbiology or Bioharmaceuticals. An MSc or PhD is preferred and a driving licence is essential.

2. Proven industry experience in a Sales, Account Management or business development role is essential.

3. A working knowledge and practical experience with upstream and downstream processing, including single use systems, filtration, purification, cell culture and more.
