Are you an experienced fuel cell engineer looking for a new exciting job opportunity?

I am currently looking for an industry experienced fuel cell engineer to drive the design, development and testing of my client's fuel cell stack products. As the fuel cell development engineer, you will be involved with the research and development as well as the commercialisation of their fuel cell products.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Your duties as the fuel cell development engineer will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:

1. You will be responsible for the design and development of low temperature PEM fuel cell and illuminated (light assisted) fuel cell component design and testing. You will manage projects focused on the optimisation of their illuminated fuel cells from initial concept stage to final prototype and transfer to production.

2. You will also set up and optimise processes to manufacture ad validate novel MEA's. Your role will be to drive forward your development activities and support team members in delivering projects within specified deadlines.

3. You will be responsible for interfacing between the wider development engineering group (integration of optical components, control systems, mechanical design and software), as well as operations, subcontractors and development partners.

4. Additionally, as the fuel cell development engineer, you will play a big part in ensuring quality and health & safety regulations are being maintained and that good laboratory practised is being observed.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

To be successful in your application to this exciting opportunity as the fuel cell design and development engineer we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:

1. Educated to a degree relevant to the role.

2. Proven industry experience in either building, designing or developing fuel cells is essential for this role.

3. A working knowledge and practical experience with managing projects / fuel cell products from initial concept stage up to commercialisation would be highly advantageous.
