We are currently looking for an Electrical & Instrumentation Technician on an initial 12 month contract to join a leading Pharmaceutical company based in the Cambridgeshire area. As the Electrical & Instrumentation Technician, you will be responsible for completing Electrical & Instrumentation Maintenance activities to ensure production demands are met through the implementation of maintenance strategies on both process equipment and site facilities.


Your duties as the Electrical & Instrumentation Technician will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:

1. As the Electrical & Instrumentation Technician, you will be ensuring adherence to GMP, safety, quality and validation protocols at all times whilst maintaining production activities.

2. You will be providing core Electrical & Instrumentation support on plant / site utility systems which includes install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment as well as taking part in calibrating activities to deliver planned & reactive maintenance on a range of assets from specialist manufacturing equipment through to vital plant utilities.

3. As the Electrical & Instrumentation Technician, you will be using predictive techniques to minimise maintenance costs and equipment downtime. Trouble shoots equipment and facilities failures and remediate identified issues.

4. You will be reporting to the Maintenance Manager.


To be successful in your application to this exciting opportunity as the Electrical & Instrumentation Technician we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:

1. Relevant qualifications in an Electrical Engineering discipline.

2. Proven industry experience working within the Pharmaceutical industry.

3. A working knowledge and practical experience with electrical and instrumentation equipment.
