We are currently looking for an Electrical Engineer (Authorised Person) to join a leading pharmaceutical company based in the Liverpool area. As the Electrical Engineer (Authorised Person), you will be responsible for ensuring procedures for the design, instillation, operation and maintenance of Electrical Equipment on-site fulfil policies and procedure requirements.


Your duties as the Electrical Engineer (Authorised Person) will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:

1. You will be responsible to assess, certify and authorise the work to employees and external contractors.

2. You will perform both reactive and pre planned maintenance on-site along side various other project dependant tasks. Maintenance of systems include: HVAC with HEPA filtration, steam boilers and compressed air systems.

3. As the Electrical Engineer (Authorised Person), you will be the initial point of contact for any Engineering & Facilities Issues while on the On-Call rota.

4. You will be use your in-depth knowledge to undergo reactive and pre planned maintenance and/or calibration of equipment, systems and facility.


To be successful in your application to this exciting opportunity as the Electrical Engineer (Authorised Person) we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:

1. Relevant degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent and 17th Edition trained.

2. Proven industry experience in a pharmaceutical environment or any heavily regulated industry.

3. A working knowledge and practical experience within a GMP and clean room facility.
