We are currently looking for multiple Project Managers to join a leading Biotechnology company based in the Darlington area. As the Project Manager you will be responsible for taking on various projects from internal and external clients and deliver these projects successfully to meet time, quality and cost targets.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Your duties as the Project Manager will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:

1. You will manage and deliver projects and oversee the management of activities of project delivery teams while supporting technical leads to ensure objectives are defined, planned and represent the customers expectations.

2. Managing deviations from the plan with customers and delivery teams without affecting the stated objectives and benefits.

3. You will manage and develop customer and partner relationships from project authorisation and initiation through to project closure as well as raising, managing and recording variations.

4. As the Project Manager you will manage the financial performance of projects, utilising financial reports to monitor actual spend versus forecast.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

To be successful in your application to this exciting opportunity as the Project Manager we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:

1. Relevant degree in a Scientific related discipline as well as a number of years of experience within Project Management in industry.

2. Proven experience within building teams and leading the groups to deliver projects in a timely manner, meeting the clients expectations.

3. A working knowledge and practical experience with controlling multiple concurrent projects as well as managing projects of large financial remuneration with proven budgets, cost control, and forecasting.
