As part of the HRS commitment to the sciences, we are looking for a People Manager to help us identify and develop our team of life-changers to help them do more of what they are best at, making a difference. We are a people business with a heart and a vision, and we hope as the People Manager you would be somebody who can add to this and be a part of HRS story.

The role of the People Manager will be varied and will cover both talent acquisition, as well internal training and development. Based on your interest, ambition and experience, it could also cover HR as the HRS continues to grow and take on more life-changers.

This is a brand-new position at HRS so as the People Manager you will not only be leading our people to do more great things, but you will be putting in the structures, processes and policies to do so. You will be responsible for all people related matters and based on the growth of the company, will have the ability to develop a team to support you in doing so.

Hyper Recruitment Solutions (HRS) is an ambitious and exciting recruitment consultancy led by experienced recruitment leader Ricky Martin, and Lord Alan Sugar. HRS was created off the back of The Apprentice, where Ricky gained a successful investment from billionaire, Lord Sugar. HRS is a company of 50 people across three core locations in the UK: Essex, Manchester and Loughton. We have growth plans to take us in to Ireland and the US over the next few years, and the Rest of the World thereafter. With that in mind we are looking for a People Manager to match the companies' ambition, somebody who is prepared to venture in to the unknown and take on additional responsibilities which enable HRS to help more companies to create life-saving drugs and life-changing technologies.


To be considered as a Life-Changer here at Hyper Recruitment Solutions we'll be looking out for the following in your application:

1. A degree in a related discipline (i.e. Human Resources, Economics, Business), or the equivalent industry-based experience / qualifications, with proven experience in an internal recruitment role preferably within the recruitment industry.

2. Experience with designing and managing (either through others or personally) internal training and development sessions to an ambitious and professional sales workforce. This role is both looking at outside talent (acquisition) and internal (development).

3. For those with an appetite for HR, prior experience operating across all areas of HR with associated CIPD qualifications would be of advantage. Being a SME company, this could cover all areas including employee relations, compensation / benefits, employee satisfaction, L&D, recruitment and compliance.
