HRS currently looking for an Account Manager - Life Science to join a leading manufacturer of reagents based in Oxford. As the Account Manager, your role will involve inside sales, new business development and also frequent travel to meet with clients between 20% to 40% across UK and EU. You will be promoting reagents to the biotech and pharma industry.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Your duties as the Account Manager - Life Science will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:

You will be confident in speaking to customers over the phone and face to face and be able to discuss the company's portofolio, which includes antibodies, antigens, proteins and services.

You will drive sales to deliver revenue growth and exceed targets. This includes developing customer/product forecasts to shape business plans.

As the Account Manager - Life Science you will also negotiate contracts & agreements with customers that meet financial targets.

You will provide accurate and timely sales reports/forecasts. Provide market and competitor intelligence & analysis.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

To be successful in your application to this exciting opportunity as the Account Manager - Biotechnology we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:

1. Relevant degree in a life science subject including Biotechnology, Biology, Biochemistry, Immunology, Genetics, Oncology, Molecular Biology, Microbiology, Bioinformatics etc. You must have a full driving licence.

2. Proven industry experience within a commercial capacity, such as Inside Sales, Account Management, Business Development, Technical Support etc,

3. A working knowledge and practical experience within the lab ideally using Flow Cytometry, Western Blot, ELISA etc.
