Clinical Field Application Specialist - Cell Biology

HRS are currently looking for a Clinical Field Application Specialist - Cell Biology covering the London & Surrey area. It is a home-based role that will require frequent travelling approximately four days a week within the territory. This is a perfect opportunity for an experienced Scientist in Cell biology and Immunology or a Field Application Specialist in Cell Biology to join a leading Life Science company. As the Clinical Field Application Specialist - Cell Biology you will be responsible for demonstrating, training and troubleshooting equipment/reagents. You will need to be based in London or Surrey area.


Your duties as the Clinical Field Application Specialist - Cell Biology will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:

1. Supporting the Sales team during pre-sales by demonstrating the instrumentation as well as the reagents. Products include cell processing and cell separation instrumentation, clinical flow cytometry, GMP Cell Cultures etc.

2. Providing technical advice, troubleshooting and training customers through training sessions, meetings and presentations. Your territory will include London and Surrey and main clients are NHS, Hospitals, Clinical Research facilities etc.

3. Dealing with various customer enquires and identifying customer needs remotely or on-site.

4. As the Clinical Field Applications Specialist - Cell Biology you must carry out competitor analysis, report on customer feedback and suggest improvements based on success stories, trials and application studies.


To be successful in your application to this exciting opportunity as the Clinical Field Application Specialist - Cell Biology we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:

1. Relevant BSc or MSc in a Sciences subject such as Biology, Cell Biology, Biotechnology, Molecular Biology or Life Sciences. A PhD is preferred and a driving licence is essential.

2. Proven experience with cell cultures, cell processing and/or Flow Cytometry. Experience in a GMP environment or clinical setting is advantageous.

3. Great communications and presentation skills. Able to travel extensively within the territory.
