We are currently looking for a Genomics Sales Specialist to join a leading Genomics company to cover the Cambridge and East Anglia area. As the Genomics Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for selling the full range of products including Oligo's, Sanger Sequencing, Gene Synthesis, Microarray, Genotyping, Next Generation Sequencing and Applied Genomics.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Your duties as the Genomics Sales Specialist will be varied however; the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:

1. Managing and developing business in the key accounts across Cambridge, Norwich, Leicester and East Anglia which include Astra Zeneca,
Cambridge University, The Sanger Institute and John Innes

2. Creating leads and converting them in to new business across Pharma, Academia and Biotech customers

3. Organising regional events for target groups, implementing sales strategy in co-operation with the Country Manager

4. Deliver effective sales presentations, introduce and promote products and services, working cross functionally across the business with marketing,
customer support, scientific liaison and technical support

ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

To be successful in your application to this exciting opportunity as the Genomics Sales Specialist we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:

1. Relevant degree ideally MSc and above in a Life Science Subject Genomics, Genetics, Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, Biochemistry etc.

2. Proven sales experience selling Life Science, Biotechnology, Molecular Biology products and services in to laboratories along with excellent
presentation and negotiation skills

3. A full UK driving licence and happy to travel across the UK and Germany as required
