Hyper Recruitment Solutions are currently looking for a Analytical Team Leader to join a leading Pharmaceutical company based in the Kent area. As the Analytical Team Leader you will be responsible for providing expertise in Analytical Chemistry techniques as well as coaching, mentoring and leading a team of motivated scientists within a R&D team.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Your duties as the Analytical Team Leader will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:

1. You will oversee analytical method development, validation and tech transfer activities, providing technical expertise on a range of analytical techniques (HPLC/UPLC, LC & GC-MS and other spectroscopic techniques) to promote innovation.

2. The Analytical Team Leader will be expected to lead by example, mentor direct reports to maximise team performance as well as exhibit strong team-working and communication skills to work collaboratively within and outside the department.

3. Ensure stability data reports are produced in a timely manner and the implications of stability data are communicated effectively, as well as reviewing the effectiveness of existing processes and provide input into process improvements.

4. You will apply principles of cGMP to ensure data generated is recorded accurately to a high standard, you will maintain expert knowledge of ICH guidelines and trends in the pharmaceutical industry to support regulatory submissions.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

To be successful in your application to this exciting opportunity as the Analytical Team Leader we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:

1. Relevant degree in a Scientific Discipline or within the Pharmaceutical Industry in an Analytical/QC focussed position.

2. Proven industry experience in a range of analytical techniques (HPLC,UPLC, GC-MS, LC and other spectroscopic techniques). Ideally with experience developing methods for a variety of product types and products at different stages of development.

3. Experience of working in a fast paced deadline focussed environment and collaborating with other departments (Formulation, Regulatory and QA).
