We are currently looking for a Senior Development Scientist to become a technical specialist within a leading ATMP organisation based in South Wales. As the Senior Development Scientist you will be responsible for providing technical support for various analytical methods and lead the transfer and qualification of new and existing methodology.


Your duties as the Senior Development Scientist will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:

1. You will lead in house investigations for the development of new methods and support the transfer of such methods while taking the lead as the subject matter expert in assay investigations.

2. Your role will involve lab based activities such as the development, optimisation, and validation of various platforms such as, ELISA, PCR, Flow Cytometry and cell imaging.

3. As the Senior Development Scientist you will plan and perform experimentation to support CMC activities as well as being an active support member of the CMC facilities.

4. Collection, reporting and reviewing data while further presenting the results will be among your responsibilities.


To be successful in your application to this exciting opportunity as the Senior Development Scientist we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:

1. Relevant degree in a Life Sciences related discipline such as Biology, Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry and extensive experience working in an analytical laboratory in industry is essential to your application.

2. Proven industry experience working with cell based assay development is essential and various other assay platforms would be desirable.

3. A working knowledge and practical experience with stem cell culturing and ATMP's as well as data analytic's experience would be highly beneficial to your application.
